Is this kettle control reliable?
All KetSol parts and factory are BEAB-approved, or VDE approved, just the same as the UK suppliers, by the same Laboratories, with same European approvals mark.
KetSol factory is ISO9001 approved with UKAS.
All KetSol parts are life-tested over and over in our lab.  We check & test every kettle fitted with our products before we supply.

Is Ketsol '360' safe?
With our HHE system, if the kettle is not on the base there is no power: Probably the safest connector in the world.
Thermostats are +/-3 deg C; more accurate than our competition and they can be fitted in the optimal position for fast cut-off.
Steam switch is sealed from water: Safer than all other open controls.

Is Ketsol 'immersed' safe?
With our TIW system, we have 2-pole switching in steam & dry plus faster acting back-up.  Our dry bimetal discs are +/-3 deg C; more accurate than similar controls.

Does ketsol have patent problems?
No, none.  KetSol never copies.  Their parts are new designs with new ideas and many new features.

Does ketsol have its own patents?
Yes, absolutely.  KetSol already has over 20 granted Patents & Design Registrations all over the world with over 40 Patent Applications covering its own unique system of safety and design.

Is the KetSol control a copy?
No.  Despite the intentional and mischievous misrepresentation on the Strix web site, KetSol is not a copy.  We never copy.  Our designs are original and patented.

Is there some legal action concerning KetSol?
No. There is none.  If you are told there is, ask them to put these points in writing and send it to us.  They will not do so.  They operate by fear.  Foreigners think they can scare Chinese factories with this information.

If I build kettles with KetSol, will they be blocked?
No.  There is no basis for blocking shipments.

If I use KetSol on a few kettles, will my control supplier increase my price?
No.  The opposite normally happens.  They will reduce their price to keep KetSol out.  You win, every time.

Why is there all this scary talk?
Because KetSol Controls are up to US$1.50 less than other European controls made in China.  They want you to slave away working for them so they can become richer from your hard work.

Was there a recall of KetSol-fitted kettles?
Yes, there was a voluntary recall of a batch of kettles in Europe, 2004.  KetSol made a mistake.  When KetSol makes a mistake, we are honest; we will tell you.  There is no shame in a recall, there is only shame in covering up and hiding problems.  This is now history.  Today our return rates are the envy of our competition.
The factory is ISO9001 approved; BEAB & VDE audited and audited by major brands.

Does KetSol insist on exclusivity; will we be under pressure to buy all our controls from KetSol?
No.  The opposite.  We encourage you to seek the best solution for your business from all manufacturers.
